DURABLE SANDSTONE WITH VERY GOOD PARAMETERS
Our sandstone differs from other sandstones in terms of high abrasion resistance, low water absorption and high compressive strength.
The Długopole yellow sandstone has been tested by independent institutions in Germany, the Czech Republic and Poland. The research proved that the Długopole sandstone is a unique stone with unparalleled physical and chemical properties. Sandstone from Długopole owes its high strength to a natural binder made of silicon, which, thanks to its large amount, gives the sandstone unprecedented hardness.
Sandstone as a construction and decorative material
Due to its high hardness, Długopole sandstone can be polished to such an extent as marble or tavertine.
High hardness and other features of our sandstone make it an excellent construction and building material.
Advantages of the Długopole sandstone
DURABLE SANDSTONE - OUR SANDSTONE CONSTRUCTION BOARDS CAN BE 1.5 CM THICK AND ARE STILL STRONG
“Długopole” sandstone is a very specific, durable material. It differs significantly from other Polish sandstones. In purely measurement terms, the technical parameters of the Długopole sandstone are much better than those of other sandstones compared to it.
THE ONLY POLISH SANDSTONE THAT SERVES AS A CONSTRUCTION ELEMENT
High abrasion resistance, low water absorption, and high compressive strength are the parameters that allow the use of “Długopole” sandstone with almost no limitations. Thanks to these properties, it can be used as a structural element of a building!
SANDSTONE DŁUGOPOLE CAN BE POLISHED!
A unique feature of our sandstone is the possibility of polishing it to such a level that it is difficult to distinguish it from marble or travertine. Thanks to the possibility of obtaining polished elements, Długopole sandstone is perfect for interiors as window sills, floors that are easy to clean.
THE DŁUGOPOLE SANDSTONE IS WIDELY USED
We make paving stones, masonry stone, brick cladding, blocks of yellow sandstone. We produce floor and wall tiles, window sills, stairs, facade tiles, turned elements, fireplaces, garden paths, flower pots, rocks, tables, fountains and many other elements from stone blocks of sandstone.
DŁUGOPOLE YELLOW SANDSTONE
The basic, natural color of the Długopole sandstone is light yellow. The color of our sandstone is not uniform. This is due to the peculiarities of natural stone. Irregular discoloration and vein patterns make it not a monotonous decorative material. Długopole sandstone can be flamed, thanks to which it acquires a red – orange color!
OUR SANDSTONE IN PRESTIGIOUS PLACES
The Długopole sandstone, thanks to its beauty and high durability, is used in many places, not only in Poland but also in the world. Our sandstone is decorated with:
- The Royal Castle in Warsaw (Arkady Kubickiego)
- Presidential Palace in Warsaw
- Wawel Royal Castle in Krakow (courtyard)
The use of sandstone
Here are some of the most popular uses of sandstone. In our sandstone processing plant in Szklary in Lower Silesia, we process stone in many different ways. We have specialized equipment and a qualified staff of specialists specializing in the processing of sandstone.
Sandstone is a material that is successfully used as a material for facades.
Sandstone window sills
Durable and solid sandstone window sills that can be successfully used inside and outside.
Sandstone floors and walkways
Solid and weather-resistant floors and walkways made of natural stone.
Sandstone is a durable material that will last for centuries. The evidence is the many monuments, the history of which goes back centuries.
Sandstone is a material that is successfully used as a material for facades and facades of buildings.
